Jennifer Carson: "Evaluating the Effectiveness of High Profile Targeted Killings"

On Tuesday, September 13 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Jennifer Carson will give a lecture titled "Evaluating the Effectiveness of High Profile Targeted Killings". The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated.

Dr. Jennifer Carson currently works as the Coordinator for Undergraduate Research and External Scholarships and as an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Missouri. She holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland and previously served as a START Terrorism Research Awardee (TRA) during the 2014-15 school year, working with START director Gary LaFree on a project titled "The Role of Targeted Assassinations in the War on Terrorism". Dr. Carson will continue to work on that project with Gary LaFree over the course of the fall 2016 semester as a visiting scholar at START during her sabbatical.
