07/12/2008: On Saturday, in Mandu, Bastar, Chhattisgarh, India, assailants attacked a market, killing one police officer and one civilian; wounding one police officer and one civilian; and damaging the market. The assailants also looted one rifle from the police officers. No group claimed responsibility, but it was widely believed a Maoist faction was responsible.
