07/27/2008: On Sunday, a man armed with a shotgun opened fire on a church congregation in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Two people were killed and seven were wounded . The attack on the Unitarian church was apparently motivated by the assailant's hatred for progressive social policies. The suspect was arrested for the attack.
