Incident Summary:

09/16/2009: On Wednesday evening at around 1800, in the Al Karkh district of Baghdad, Iraq, assailants fired two rockets at the International (Green) Zone that landed in Abu Nawas Street, wounding two civilians. United States Vice President Joseph Biden had just concluded a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki prior to this attack. There was no damage or motive reported and the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haqq/Islamic Shiite Resistance (AAH) claimed responsibility.
