Incident Summary:

11/6/2011: Members of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) attacked a police station by unknown means in Jambalo, Cauca department, Colombia. One police officer was killed in the assault and three civilians were injured. Specific motive is unknown; however, the attack occurred the day after FARC's leader was killed. Such attacks serve to demonstrate that FARC maintains military capabilities in the face of loss of leadership.
