12/25/2011: A bomb targeting the Mountain of Fire and Minacles Church detonated in Jos, Plateau, Nigeria. Immediately following the blast, a gun battle erupted between militants and the police. One police officer was killed and four militants were arrested. This is one of multiple coordinated attacks claimed by Boko Haram on this day.
