01/05/2012: A roadside bomb detonated in Shir Gazi area, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Three United States North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops, Bryan Bell, Matthew Schwartz, and Matthew Seidler, were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected the Taliban.
