Incident Summary:

03/11/2014: Approximately 100 assailants detonated landmines and opened fire on a patrol of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and state police in Bastar area, Sukma district, Chhattisgarh state, India. At least 15 security officials and a civilian were killed in the attack, and three people were wounded. The Revolutionary People's Front (RPF), a wing of the People's Liberation Army (India), claimed responsibility for the incident and said that they were supported by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M).
