Incident Summary:

03/20/2015: An explosive device detonated near a Nowruz Celebration in Al-Mufti neighborhood, Hasakah city, Al Hasakah governorate, Syria. This was one of two explosions targeting celebrations in Al-Mufti on the same day. At least 49 people were killed and 177 others were wounded in the blasts. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
