Incident Summary:

03/31/2015: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on an Assam Rifles (AR) patrol in Kamjong subdivision, Ukhrul district, Manipur state, India. Two soldiers and an assailant were killed and one soldier was wounded in the attack. The People's Liberation Army (India) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the harassment of civilians by military personnel.
