12/27/2015: Assailants attacked a police post in Chora district, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. This was one of 10 incidents targeting police posts in Chora on the same day. At least 16 people, including two officers and 14 assailants, were killed and 10 others, including two officers and eight assailants, were injured across the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
