Incident Summary:

12/29/2015: Assailants took 13 hostages in a Tambon Administration Organization (TAO) office in Rom Sai subdistrict, Narathiwat province, Thailand. Boonlert Jindathananant, the TAO secretary, was killed in the assault. The remaining 12 hostages were released shortly after Jindathananant was killed. This was one of two related incidents in Narathiwat on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
