12/29/2015: An explosive device detonated and assailants opened fire on a Royal Thai Police vehicle in Ban Ai Buena, Rom Sai subdistrict, Narathiwat province, Thailand. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two related incidents in Narathiwat on the same day; this contingent of officers was traveling to the scene of an earlier hostage taking situation. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
