01/13/2016: Assailants abducted Ayub, a National Uprising Movement (NUM) commander, and his two guards from Garjak area, Badakhshan province, Afghanistan. Ayub was killed shortly after the kidnapping, while the whereabouts of the two guards are unknown. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
