Career Profile Session with Rohina Phadnis, Aug. 1

The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) will host a Career Profile Session with Rohina Phadnis, a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to attend the event designed to offer the opportunity to learn about the management consulting industry or the international affairs industry, and how to navigate and succeed in these competitive fields.

Phadnis, a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, received her master’s degree in International Security Policy and South Asia from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. In addition to publishing her work in the school’s Journal of International Affairs, Phadnis accumulated extensive experience in the international affairs industry. She interned at the Salzburg Global Seminar in Austria, the United Nations Population Fund in New York and Columbia’s Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies while working as a Graduate Student Consultant at the U.S. Department of State.

After earning her master’s degree, Phadnis worked as an analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense before taking the job of senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.
