Teaching Opportunities
START frequently has the opportunity to offer elective courses as part of the University of Maryland’s Terrorism Studies Minor Program and Terrorism Analysis Graduate Certificate Program.
Interested parties should complete and submit to education@start.umd.edu the following documents:
Applications are encouraged from faculty members, advanced doctoral students, and homeland security professionals. Course proposals should not duplicate existing courses in the Terrorism Studies Minor Program or Terrorism Analysis Graduate Certificate Program but should offer new and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and may be submitted for courses to be taught during the University of Maryland’s Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer I and Summer II terms. Courses can be taught in-person on the University of Maryland campus or online in a fully synchronous format.
