START is proud to co-sponsor the Descartes Conference on Mathematical Models in Counterterrorism.

The conference takes place on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC- 2168 Rayburn House Office Building from September 28-29, 2006.

The Descartes Conference on Mathematical Models in Counterterrorism addresses some of the latest developments in the application of mathematics to the development of counterterrorism defense and security methods.

START investigator, Laura Dugan, presents her research on the opening day of the conference.
