On Tuesday, October 20 at 12:30 pm, Lyubov Mincheva, a visiting Fulbright scholar at START, will give a lecture titled "Global Illegal Markets: An Analytical Perspective". The event is free and open to the public but RSVP's are appreciated.

Lyubov Grigorova Mincheva is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2000. She has served as principal-, and/or co-investigator on a number of conflict-, and security related projects; and published extensively in English and Bulgarian languages on ethnopolitics, spillover crisis, peacekeeping, crime, and terrorism. She has three published books.  Two of them are in English, one – in Bulgarian; And one of them is an edited volume; two are authored/ co-authored . She is a member of the Governing Board of the European International Studies Association.
