10/21/1970: Snipers positioned in and around the Pyramid Court Housing Project, armed with automatic weapons, fired on police headquarters in Cairo, Illinois, United States. Police fired back in an exchanged that last three hours. There were no casualties but the police station was hit by hundreds of bullets.
