04/29/1999: An airport in Ziguinchor, the capital of the separatist Casamance region in Senegal, was shelled by unknown perpetrators as a private plane carrying tourism ministry officials was landing. The shells landed in a nearby neighborhood killing one and injuring around a dozen.
