Incident Summary:

08/06/1999: Militants of the Harkat-ul-Ansar and Hizb-ul-Mujahidin (HM) launched a five-pronged attack on a 100-member Rashtriya Rifles Army post in Check-Natnusa village, India. Five soldiers and six militants were killed and thirteen others were injured. The assailants fired at least 20 rockets, light machine guns and other sophisticated weapons at the Army camp.
