Incident Summary:

08/14/1999: Prince Charles was attacked in a remote cove in Cyprus by a dozen fanatic supporters of Enosis Movement (EOKA-B). The perpetrators were carrying harpoon-guns and trapped the Prince between the sea and his yacht as they threatened the shocked prince and screamed insults for Britain's involvement in Cyprus. The Prince managed to escape to safety.
