Incident Summary:

10/26/1999: In Northern Ireland, police discovered a pipe bomb in a van that they had stopped on Moy Road near Dungannon. An Army bomb expert escaped unhurt when the pipe bomb detonated as he attempted to carry out a controlled explosion. It was believed that Loyalists were responsible for the device. Two suspects were arrested at the scene, but additional information on them was not disclosed.
