Incident Summary:

11/13/1999: Twelve policemen on patrol in the Niger Delta were killed by suspected members of the Egbesu Youths of the Bayelsa. Shortly after this attack ten military soldiers guarding oil facilities in the Niger Delta were killed the same suspected militants.

Additional Information This was one of two related attacks (cf. 199911130009-10).
