01/04/2000: The offices of a Russian-language newspaper, Novoe Vremya (New Times), in Yerevan, Armenia, were burnt down after receiving threats related to a previous article published in the newspaper on the assassination of the Armenian prime minister on October 27, 1999. The perpetrators of this incident were unknown.
