8/29/2000: At least two people were injured in an explosion that occurred at an archeological site near Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel. Authorities believe that it was caused by a pipe bomb. Haredim have clashed with archeologists in the past when they believed that Jewish graves were being excavated. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
