Incident Summary:

09/09/2000: The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) claimed responsibility for starting a fire at the Munroe County Republican Party Headquarters, in Bloomington, Indiana, U.S.A. The fire caused minor damage to the exterior of the building. ELF released a statement that read, "I-69 is just one example of the willingness of the rich to bleed the Earth and the working class to fulfill their money lust." The group says it started the fire to make a statement against plans to extend Interstate 69.
