Incident Summary:

10/10/2000: Unidentified assailants partially burned down a synagogue in Trappes, a western suburb of Paris, France. Several youths were seen leaving the synagogue just before the fire broke out. Canisters of flammable liquid were found on the premises. The first and second floors and the roof were badly damaged in the fire. The incident occurred during increased tension amongst Jewish and Muslim people, following clashes between Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East.
