12/13/2000: Members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) attacked Cikijing, a red-light district in Subang, West Java, Indonesia. The assailants forcefully cut the hair of three suspected prostitutes, destroyed several residences, and beat and stabbed to death a young man who tried to intervene. The attack took place during the month of Ramadan.
