2/24/2001: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a bomb at a bus stop frequented by Algerian soldiers in Laghouat, Algeria. Three people were killed and twenty-seven others were wounded. Most of the casualties were members of the Algerian military.
