2/28/2001: A bomb was discovered hidden in a bag at a popular restaurant in downtown Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv district, Israel. The police defused the bomb, which consisted of two kilograms of explosives stuffed into a metal tube. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack; however, authorities suspect that a Palestinian left the bag in the restaurant.
