Incident Summary:

03/28/2001: Suspected Chechen rebels detonated three land mines that had been planted on the railway near Gudermes, Chechnya. The three mines exploded as a train carrying out of service equipment passed along the track. Seven cars were derailed and several meters of track were damaged in the attack. No casualties resulted from the explosions. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
