Incident Summary:

07/02/2001: Two car bombs exploded in the center of Yehud near the Ben Gurion International Airport. No one was killed, six were treated for shock. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility. The explosives were placed in the trunks of cars that belonged to local residents. Each explosive was about 10kg and were laden with nails. They were detonated remotely with cellular phones. Surrounding cars were destroyed. One exploded near a kindergarden the other near a residential driveway.
