Incident Summary:

07/10/2001: One policeman was killed and 12 civillians were injured when a 40kg bomb exploded inside a car in the Alucha neighborhood of Madrid. The Basque seaparatist movement, Euskadi ta Askatasuna (ETA), telephoned a warning before the bomb went off and the casualties were inflicted while police were trying to evacuate the area.
