Incident Summary:

07/31/2001: A bus carrying 40 passengers was hijacked by two Chechen rebels near the airport of the city of Mineralnye Vody, Russia. The hijackers demanded the release of jailed Chechen separatists. The bus was stormed by Russian commandos later in the day resulting in the death of one hijacker.
