01/25/2002: Twenty-five people were seriously injured in a suicide bomb attack at a bus station in Tel Aviv, Israel. It was not certain who was responsible for the attack however HAMAS was suspected.

Additional Information At the scene of the attack police found a bag with a Kalashnikov assault rifle and clips. Previous to the attack warnings had been received to local authorities on planned attacks in the Sharon, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem districts and in other locations.
