5/27/2002: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a homemade bomb targeting a military convoy travelling on RN 43 in Taboukar, Algeria. One soldier was wounded and the blast shattered the window of the soldiers' Land Rover.
