08/17/2002: Assailants opened fire on a Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) office in Dhupguri, West Bengal, India. At least five people were killed and 11 other people were injured in the assault. The Kamtapur Liberation Organization (KLO) claimed responsibility for the attack.
