9/7/2002: Members of Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacked villagers in Kuleku, West Nile sub-region, Uganda. The assailants abducted at least 50 people from the village. Specific motive is unknown; however, the LRA has abducted numerous children in order to turn them into fighters or sex slaves.
