09/21/2002: Jammu and Kashmir Minister of Tourism, Sakina Itoo, escaped an assassination attempt when unknown militants detonated a landmine and opened fire on her convoy at Mirhama in Kulgam. Two people were killed in the attack and five other people were injured.
