Incident Summary:

05/29/2003: Ten people, five civilians and five perpetrators, were killed when approximately seventy-five Moslem separatists attacked two army outposts and a village in Carmen, Philippines. The rebels fired rockets and mortars on the army outposts and burned approximately 15 homes. The army blamed the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) for the incident, but the group denied the accusation.
