Incident Summary:
06/22/2003: Suspected militant Albanians were suspected of being behind two bombings in Skopje, Macedonia. The two bombs exploded two minutes apart in the center of Skopje. The first bomb went off in the Mavrovka shopping center while the second one exploded near the Telekom building. One person was injured in the attacks. Although no group claimed responsibility for the bombings, ethnic Albanian guerilla groups had been responsible for similar bombings in the past.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
There must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience (or audiences) than the immediate victims.
