Incident Summary:

07/27/2003: A Nigerian working for Chevron Texaco was abducted by ethnic militia in the Niger Delta region. The worker was abducted on his way to his office in Warri, Nigeria. A group known as Egbema National Front, which claimed to represent the interests of the restive Ijaw ethnic group, claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.
