Incident Summary:

12/24/2003: Gorka Loran Lafourcade, member of Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA), was arrested at his home in the Basque town of Hernani, Spain after planting a suitcase bomb containing 20 kilos (44 pounds) of dynamite aboard the Irun-Madrid express train bound to Madrid. The bomb was found and deactivate in the city of Burgos.
