Incident Summary:

04/25/2004: A 20-year-old Israeli border patrol officer, Yaniv Mashiah, was killed in an attack in Hebron, in the West Bank, Palestine Three other Israeli soldiers were wounded when their patrol came under fire from the attackers. The attack was claimed by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades who said they were avenging the assassination of HAMAS leader Abdul Aziz Rantisi.
