06/26/2004: Two United Nations staff and a child were killed in a bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan. The device exploded inside a minibus carrying workers to voter registration sites in eastern Nangarhar province, leaving 12 people injured, four seriously. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
