Incident Summary:

07/30/2004: Nine people, including one suicide bomber, were killed when the bomb carried by a suicide bomber exploded near the motorcade of Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz in Fateh Jang, Pakistan. The attack injured at least 50 people and responsibility was claimed by the al-Islambouli Brigades of al-Qaida. Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz escaped unharmed from the explosion.
