9/22/2004: A suicide bomber in a vehicle drove into a group of Iraq National Guard recruits in Baghdad, Baghdad province, Iraq. Seven recruits were killed and another 53 were injured in the blast. Tawhid and Jihad claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that they were targeting people joining the "treacherous police and army".
