The recording called on Muslims to wage holy war against "crusaders" in the region and made special mention of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Although Organization of Soldiers of the Levant claimed responsibility for the attack, local authorities believed that the attack may have been an Al-Qaida linked operation.
