8/16/2005: Unknown perpetrators, who might have been affiliated with the Armed Islamic Group (GIA), fired into an apartment complex in Ain Romana, Algeria. Abdelouahab Guiroud, Mahfoud Chenoufi, and Tahar Meguenni were killed in the incident. It is unknown if the victims were specifically targeted or if the the assailants intended to kill civilians at random.
